Value: $11. The amount of food was enough and then some. I seriously could not finish my sandwich and fries on my own. I needed help from my kid that devours anything and everything. So you can totally share with your kids if it’s too much food for you.
Taste: I can’t tell you how good their food is, you’d have to try for yourself! Cocobar has its own twist on The Cuban Sandwich (here is a link to traditional cuban sandwich). However, I paired my Cocomiel Cuban Sandwich with their sweet potato fries and peach tea!
Presentation: Every single plate ALWAYS comes out of the kitchen well presented. Kudos to the cook and his crew for making me want to order every thing on the menu!
Vibe: Great vibes! Cocomiel is one of my favorite restaurants for this exact reason. Everyone’s super great and super friendly and they’re consistent on your refills.
Accessibility: Super freakin’ easy to find! Literally on the corner of Lee Trevino and Vista Del Sol and parking is good. I never have a problem when I go!
Coco Loves You. And it’s so true that they do. Cocomiel is one of my favorite restaurants and for various reasons too. I love the vibes, the design/decor, the staff and the FOOD! These guys know how to present food and fun well, not to mention, on the opposite side of Cocomiel is Cocobar! Both serve food and drinks! Cocomiel is more family friendly and Cocobar is, well, a bar with great drinks, food and music! I’ve gone to both but on this occasion I chose Cocomiel and they NEVER disappoint!
I had the Cuban sandwich and I loved it. Although it was different from what I have been taught is a Cuban sandwich, it was phenomenal! What I really like about the sandwich was that it did not fall apart. I absolutely hate when I’m enjoying a sandwich and everything falls from the bottom, don’t you? The fries, my goodness, the fries were amazing. I had sweet potato fries that were salted very well, crispy and the serving size was legit. My server was so good and the fact that she was attending 7 tables and never let me die of thirst was so great!! As always, Ciao for now!
