Carnitas Queretaro – Feliz Cinco De Mayo!

Carnitas Queretaro – Feliz Cinco De Mayo!

1451 N Zaragoza Rd

Overall Bites:

Value:  $9, I personally thought it was a bit much for the plate, but everyone has their own opinion.

Taste: Only needed a dash of salt (which is weird because I don’t usually add salt), but overall was good!

Presentation: I’ll tell you, it wasn’t just slapped on to a plate, which is good and appetizing!

Vibe: I am always vibing with this place, food is good, service is good, music is good! Good place to bring anyone to!

Accessibility: If you live in El Paso, you know where Zaragoza is at, and if you know Zaragoza, then you’ll spot this place easily! They have a total of 4 locations:

FELIZ CINCO DE MAYO!

Not to be confused with 16 De Septiembre,  México’s Independence Day. I woke up ready to conquer the day with some Mexican breakfast! Not to mention there was a 2×1 special! Specials and breakfast are my two favorite things! I went in the morning, which I usually don’t do, only because when I’ve gone it’s for lunch or dinner.  My ‘corazon de melon’ loves this place. I also took Jasdiel, my daughter, with me because she’s my right hand man when it comes to eating. You’ll hear about her occasionally as well. This place is always busy but not to the point where you have to wait to be seated and I’m always vibing here. They have great music playing in the background and the food is always good.

I ordered what’s called ‘El Mexicano’, (fortunately it was my food, unfortunately for me, I thought it’d be my love 😜). It consisted of over easy eggs on top of a bed of potatos and chorizo with refried beans. Taste was good, I wasn’t in love with it, but it was good. See, I just needed the chorizo to have a little more flavor so I added a little salt  (which I hardly ever do) but I’m not complaining. Was thinking I should have ordered the pozole. I’ve never had it from here but the customer beside my booth ordered it and my goodness it looked phenomenal.

But hey, the service was excellent, super courteous waiter, and I never had to ask to have my glass refilled.. I paid $9 for this meal, so I’ll let you all decide if that was a good price or not. All in all, a solid 4 Bites for this one! Ciao for now!
